What is my christian name?

Days ago, I was thinking that in a few years time, people no longer address me as Mr Chan but Master Chan. That’s not enough, I think Doctor Chan may sounds nicer, or even Doctor Yik. Don’t you think so too? “Hi Dr Yik, how do you do?… Yo, Dr Yik… Wassup Dr Chan…”

Before any Master or Doctor, perhaps I need a Christian name first, so that easier for people to remember me. Dick Chan? (Sounds like a dickhaed, no way!) KooKoo Chan? (kukujiao? hell no!) Why not Nelson Chan? Yea, Nelson was my English name when I was Primary one in this tuition class, and specifically to be used only in this class alone. The reason for the name to even exist was because the tuition teacher asked my dad for my Christian name, and my dad just picked one from the air, Nelson it is. So, I was stucked with that 牛神 (god of bull?) for 3 freaking years. Everyday, people will just 牛神-ing here and there instead of the proper Nelson, probably due to their lack of proficiency in their English Language therefore they have to pronounce it the Chinese way.

Nevermind, Nelson doesn’t sound that bad right? Maybe I shall start using it, aye Dr Nelson Chan?
